Outside Lands is known for teasing their lineup through clever social media hints. Last year, the Rangers played charades to give followers clues as to who they could expect to see. This year, Outside Lands enlisted talented artists, Terrence Knoles & Conor Buckley of And Them, to create a Where’s Waldo-esque scene, leading fans to give their best guesses on who each character represented. After a grueling 5 days of anticipation, the lineup is here. And it’s a good one. The headliners include Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, Odesza, The 1975, Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, Janelle Monae, Maggie Rogers, Fisher, and recent recipient of Billboard’s Visionary Award - Lana Del Rey.
Lana has had a massively successful past few years. With the iconic release of 2019's Norman F*cking Rockwell!, her poetry book titled Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, the back to back releases of Chemtrails Over The Country Club and Blue Banisters, a recent collaboration with Taylor Swift, her upcoming album, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd., and the uptick in trending unreleased songs such as “Queen of Disaster”, “Say Yes to Heaven”, “Playing Dangerous”, “Put Me in a Movie”, and “Meet me in the Pale Moonlight”, it’s no wonder fans (new and old) are excited about this development. To add to the excitement, Lana hasn’t performed at Outside Lands since 2016 and has not toured since 2019 - and even then, the tour ended early and was never resurrected due to COVID. There’s something very special about a Lana Del Rey concert, especially one that takes place outdoors in California during the summer. This is not one to be missed. 3-Day Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 AM PT! Get yours here.
